Deadmau5 fell victim to SoundCloud hackers earlier this week, resulting in his personal information being leaked, and now he’s taking his anger out on SoundCloud in a flurry of tweets about their security. It also appears that his SoundCloud account has been disabled until further notice.
Deadmau5’s Soundcloud Account Hacked, Personal Information Leaked

The mau5 head DJ and producer tweeted that he’s looking into other platforms for his music and continued to vent his frustrations, highlighting emails from the SoundCloud team and criticizing their procedures. He also requested for them to remove all of his intellectual properties due to his account being frozen, so currently there’s no clarification on which party disabled the SoundCloud account.
Deadmau5 wrapped up the rant with a call to action for fans to share a tweet to SoundCloud with the hashtag #SupportTwoFactorAuth, which is in support of the identity security method 2FA.
