Zirakpur girl gets top rank in AIIMS PG Medical Entrance Exam

Zirakpur girl, Dr Akanksha Sharma has got first rank in AIIMS PG Medical Entrance Exams (AIIMS PGME). PGME is a national level postgraduate medical entrance exam which is conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi for admission to MD / MS programmes.

ZIRAKPUR: Zirakpur girl, Dr Akanksha Sharma has got first rank in AIIMS PG Medical Entrance Exams (AIIMS PGME). PGME is a national level postgraduate medical entrance exam which is conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi for admission to MD / MS programmes.
Akanksha, has done her schooling from St. Anne's Convent School, here and completed MBBS from GMCH-32 recently.
She said that AIIMS PGME exam is one of the toughest exams in medicine because level of exam is extremely high.
I really felt exhausted during the exam because it took a lot of energy and time to solve the questions but because of the knowledge and tips given by experts of my coaching institute during the preparation helped me to get the desired rank.”
Sharing tips for aspirants of AIIMS PGME exam, Akanksha said that, the strategy that should be followed for AIIMS aspirants is to focus on text books along with DAMS study material, which is based on standard text books and are concise and short. It is important for every spirant to be thorough with the DAMS notes, as it helps tremendously for preparing for an exam as tough as AIIMS PGME.
“The candidates must devote most of their time towards their studies and focus on every single aspect of the paper because no one knows what type of questions can come. In the recent past, a lot of changes have been there in PGME exams and an able institute can only help the aspirants to get what they seek.”
