People berating Narendra Modi for bad days:Lalu

Patna, May 26 (UNI) Rashtriya Janata Dal supremo Lalu Prasad today said Prime Minister Narendra Modi's promise of 'Achche Din' proved to be a 'farce' and people were berating him for 'bad days', being faced on them. Mr Prasad, while giving his reaction to the state of affairs during the two-year rule of Modi government, said though promises of good days were made, there was no sign of it and people were facing troubled days as never before. Price rise of essential commodities has made their lives horrible, but still the Prime Minister was claiming to have improved the scenario, he remarked. "Mr Modi himself promised to bring back black money stashed in foreign banks, but after two years no sincere step is in sight, which could yield any result in this regard", Mr Prasad said, adding that the promise of depositing Rs 15 lakh each in bank account of the poor from the black money brought back, also remained unfulfilled. The RJD supremo said Mr Modi, during campaign before the last Lok Sabha elections, had created an impression among the masses that nothing was done during the more than six decades of Independence, but after becoming PM, he himself inaugurated several space programmes, including launch of updated series of satellites. "Mr Modi owes an explanation to the nation how he could be in a position to inaugurate the programme for launch of satellites, if nothing was done since Indpendence. There is still a period of three years left for Modi and he should try to deliver instead of making hollow claims," he remarked. UNI KKS/KDG RJ VN2256
