Liverpool's Martin Skrtel likely to leave, Besiktas interested - agent

Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel looks set to leave Anfield this summer with Besiktas a possible destination, the player's agent has said.

Last month, a source close to Skrtel told ESPN FC that the centre-back is considering his future at Liverpool after dropping down the pecking order.

The Slovakia international, who signed for the Reds from Zenit St Petersburg in 2008, started just one Premier League game for Jurgen Klopp's side since December after several weeks out of action with a hamstring injury.

"Besiktas is one of those interested in Martin but we're haven't reached a point where I can confirm Martin is going there, or anywhere else," Skrtel's agent, Karol Csonto, told TV Markiza in Slovakia.

"But I can say that it is 90 percent sure Martin will leave Liverpool, but it is far from closed."
