Entertainment » OtherPosted at: May 26 2016 5:05PM Sharad and RCP get Rajya Sabha berths again; Tyagi cold shoulderedPatna, May 26 (UNI) Deposed JD(U) president Sharad Yadav and R C P Singh, a close confidante of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, were today confirmed as party nominees for biennial elections to the Rajya Sabha for five seats from Bihar. However, party national general secretary K C Tyagi, a close confidante of Mr Yadav, missed the bus along with two other retiring members Ghulam Rasiik Baliyavi and Pawan Verma as the party could send only two members to the Upper House due to its depleted strength in the state assembly.
