Two infiltrators killed; operation still continues near LoC in J&K

Srinagar, May 26 (UNI) Two Pakistani infiltrators were killed and a massive operation was continuing near the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district in north Kashmir, where some militants are holed up, official sources said.
However, Defence Ministry spokesman Colonel N N Joshi said details are awaited and operation was still going on when the reports last came in.
The sources said troops, guarding the LoC, noticed a group of heavily armed militants infiltrating into this side from Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) in Nougam sector in Kupwara. However, when challenged and asked to surrender, the militants opened fire with automatic weapons.
