Thala Ajith to work with AR Murugadoss now?

Rumours have been doing the rounds for the last few months in Kollywood that Thala Ajith will work AR Murugadoss soon. Two days back when AR Murugadoss put up a profile picture on his social media handle with Ajith in their shelved movie Mirattal, people thought the project was confirmed. 

AR Murugadoss made his directorial debut with Ajith in the film Dheena. It was after this film that Ajith earned the title 'Thala'. Murugadoss has delivered some big hits in Tamil with Suriya and Vijay and in Hindi as well. Now, Ajith's fans are hoping that the ace director works with Ajith once again. 

After Dheena, Ajith and the Thuppakki director were to work in Mirattal in 2004 but the movie did not take off. Suriya then stepped into his role and the movie that came out in 2005 was Ghajini. Though Dheena was a big hit, Ajith and Murugadoss have never worked together after that.

Now Murugadoss has gone back to his original profile picture on his social media handle and sources close to him have stated that he only changed it out of respect for Ajith. There is no plan to revive that project. So guess we have to wait and see if the two will work together in future.
