QPR Software is listed as a representative vendor in the 25 April 2016 published Gartner Market Guide for Enterprise Business Process Analysis (EBPA), co-authored by Marc Kerremans and Samantha Searle. Globally the Gartner Market Guide lists 22 representative vendors offering solutions in this market. The estimated annual market size, consisting of product license and maintenance revenue, is between USD 750 and 850 million.

Gartner describes the Enterprise Business Process Analysis market as the discipline of business modeling, aimed at transforming and improving business performance and business outcomes. 'Unlike more traditional business process analysis (BPA), EBPA supports the professional modeling community (process architects and process analysts) and the rank-and-file workforce, as part of the move toward the democratization of process improvement, and knowledge discovery and dissemination.'
