II PU exam results: Failed student hangs himself in Madikeri

Madikeri: A student committed suicide on Wednesday after seeing that he had failed in one subject of the II PU course. Rajappa, son of Kademada Nanda Somaiah and Reena of T Shettigeri village near Virajpet, was a student of Cauvery College, Gonikoppal.
Early in the morning, Rajappa checked his result on the website and was shocked to see that he had failed in economics.

A II PU student committed suicide on Wednesday after she failed in the board exam. Pavitra, 18, a resident of Ramasamudra Layout in Chamarajanagar district, was an arts student of JSS PU College.
A 17-year-old girl and resident of Kodiyala village in Srirangapatna taluk in Mandya district hanged herself at her residence after she failed the PU exams.
