Watch a Mohiniyattam performance by dance exponents Jayashree Nair and Anita Sharma’s troupes. Nair is the founder-director of Upaasana Academy of Classical Dance and Music, Mumbai, and has been teaching Bharatanatyam and Mohiniyattam for three decades. Thereafter, Sharma’s troupe will perform a Sattriya, the 15th century dance form that was propagated by Saint Srimanta Shankardev in Assam. A disciple of dance-guru Nrityacharya Jatin Goswami, Sharma runs the Abhinaya Dance Academy in Guwahati. Tickets are priced between Rs. 200 and Rs. 300.
