Six students get first rank in Ariyalur district

They have got 496 marks, secured the district first rank while five others with 495 marks, secured the second rank.

Six students from Ariyalur district who got 496 marks, secured the district first rank while five others with 495 marks, secured the second rank. The district level third rank was shared by 15 students who got 494 marks.

R. Narendhiran, Vidya Mandir Mat HSS; P. Nivetha, TSN Mat School, Dhalavai; A.R. Shivanandhiny, Arasu Nagar Mat HSS; S. Sivanandhini, Fathima Girls HSS, Jayamkondam, R. Swetha, Swamy Mat HSS, Keezha Pazhur and M. Vijayalakshmi, Montfort Mat HSS stood first in the district.

J. Kalaivani and R. Venkatesh, both from Vidhya Mandir Mat HSS; V. Kavianusuya, Fathima Mat school, R. Priyadarshini, Adhitya Birla Mat School; S. Sathishraja, Gowdhama Buddhar HSS, Managethi, were the district second rank holders.

M. Bhuvana and V. Nithya, St. Theresa Mat HSS; M. Dhakshana, K. Keerthana, M. Nandhini, M. Sathya all from Montfort Mat HSS; S. Harishkumaar and R. Selvakumar both from Arasu Nagar HSS; Jainabsanofar and R. Priyadarshini both from Fathima Mat School; A. Jency Sheeba, St. Martins Mat. School, Andimadam; B. Kamali, Periyar Mat HSS, Jayamkondam; V. M. Narenthiran, Vidya Mandir Mat HSS; T.S. Sumhithaa, TNPL Mat HSS; S. V. Swathiga, Cheran Mat HSS bagged the third position in the district.

E. Saravanavel Raj, District Collector, said that the district registered 92.52 percentage of pass percentage. Of 11,539 students who appeared for the examination through 160 schools, as many as 10,676 emerged successful.

Centum galore

It was a centum galore, with 863 students securing centum in three subjects – 196 in mathematics, 183 in science and 484 in social science.
