Samsung unveils tablet useful for Aadhaar

Samsung on Wednesday unveiled a new tablet — Galaxy Tab Iris— that comes equipped with iris-recognition technology. It is priced at Rs.13,499. The device aimed at government and enterprises can be used for authenticating the user’s identity using their Aadhaar credentials. The tablet can be used by agencies using Aadhaar as an authentication mechanism — Special Correspondent
