Six persons accused of travelling in SLR coach of Rapti Ganga express were arrested at Charbagh station on Wednesday.The accused has been detained by railway protection force.

Lucknow: Six persons accused of travelling in SLR coach of Rapti Ganga express were arrested at Charbagh station on Wednesday. The accused has been detained by railway protection force. The case has been registered under section 156 (travelling on roof step or engine of the train) of Railway Act.
The SLR coach is meant to carry luggage. Persons from Dehradun district of Uttarakhand were found travelling in SLR coach of Rapti Ganga express coming from Dehradun Junction.

Held for begging: To check the nuisance of begging in trains, 14 beggar women were arrested from four trains and made to pay fine of Rs 1,500 each on Wednesday. They were arrested from different trains passing or originating from Lucknow following complaints of passengers on Tuesday night.
A case was registered under section 144B of the Prohibition on Hawking and Begging in Railways Act. They all used to travel without ticket and beg in sleeper coaches and inter-city trains.
