UCLA announced Tuesday its 15 year $280 million contract with Under Armour, the largest apparel contract in NCAA history.
This was a big win for Under Armour since the company only had two of the ten largest contracts with NCAA football teams prior to UCLA, leaving Nike NKE and Adidas with the rest.
According to CampusInsiders.com's Kurt Shwerman, the current top ten NCAA deals are below:
1.) UCLA with Under Armour - Under Armour - $280 million
2.) University of Texas Austin - Nike - $200 million
3.) University of Michigan - Nike - $150-165 million
4.) University of Notre Dame - Under Armour - $9 million
5.) Texas A&M - Adidas - $7.1 million
6.) Indiana University - Adidas - $6.7 million
7.) University of Kansas - Adidas - $6.375 million
8.) University of Louisville - Adidas - $5.915 million
9.) Florida State University - Nike - $4.35 million
10.) University of Maryland - $4.3 million
Under Armour traded up 1.49% Tuesday after the announcement and, at the time of writing, down 0.04% today.
