Entertainment » OtherPosted at: May 25 2016 9:30PM Train services affected due to storm and rainKolkata, May 25 (UNI) Local train services of Howrah and Sealdah Divisions were affected following the sudden storm and rain this afternoon. An Eastern Railways statement said in Howrah Division, a lot of foreign materials, including plastic packets, got entangled with the overhead wire and the power supply tripped between Uttarpara and Hindmotor stations. Besides, tree branches also fell on overhead equipment near Hindmotor station and power supply was cut-off in the main line from 1428 hours to 1632 hours.
