Chenani-Nashri tunnel unlikely to meet July 16 deadline

By Vishal BhartiJammu, Mar 30 (UNI) The Chenani-Nashri tunnel, India’s largest road tunnel in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir is unlikely to meet July 16 deadline as ongoing work is yet to be completed by the nodal agency.
‘’The tunnel was earlier supposed to thrown open in June but later the date was extended till July 16,’’ official sources here today told UNI.
They said, ‘’the work on Chenani-Nashri tunnel is in progress but it may not meet the fixed deadline of July 16.’’
