Trinamool Congress MP Saugata Roy took a dig at Congress’s attempt to check crossover of its MLAs to TMC by asking them to sign court papers, saying this shows the party does not have faith in their own legislators.

“Congress doesn’t have faith in their own elected MLAs and that is why they are taking such steps. It is laughable. We have never invited any Congress MLA to our party. Whoever joined TMC has done so on his or her own,” he said.
