4 things sports fans will be talking about: Thunder, Penguins, Le'Veon Bell, Craig Sager

Here are four things sports fans should know about on Wednesday morning:

1. The Thunder beat the Warriors and lead the Western Conference Finals 3-1

Kevin Durant scored 26 and snagging 11 rebounds in the 118-94 victory with, while Russell Wesbtrook notched a triple-double with 36 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. The Warriors are one game away from elimination.

More from USA TODAY Sports’ Sam Amick:

[Steph] Curry, under siege from these Thunder defenders who are too long, too quick and too in tune to let him breathe, is being badly outplayed by Westbrook. He shot just six of 20 from the field and had six turnovers in Game 4, the Thunder giving him the pinball treatment every time he tries to fly through the lane while Westbrook (a monster triple double with 36 points, 11 assists and 11 rebounds) wears him out on the other end.

2. The Penguins forced Game 7 against the Lightning with a 5-2 win

Sidney Crosby had a goal and an assist, as did Nick Bonino. A decision by Penguins coach Mike Sullivan to challenge a Jonathan Drouin goal that was overturned was a huge moment.

More from USA TODAY Sports’ Kevin Allen:

Tampa Bay players celebrated. The building was alive. Moments before, Tampa Bay goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy had made a big save against Evgeni Malkin. Scoring the first goal is huge in potential clinching games. You could feel momentum growing as the crowd roared.

Not so fast, said Sullivan.

He used his Coach’s Challenge to ask replay officials whether the play had started by an offside entry into the zone by Drouin.

Sure enough, replays showed when Tampa Bay defenseman Victor Hedman brought the puck into the offensive zone, Drouin was not onside.

The goal is erased. Momentum is killed.

3. Le’Veon Bell accused the Bengals of being dirty

The Steelers running back had his season end in 2015 because of an MCL injury against Cincinati and said this on Tuesday, via triblive.com:

“I don’t think it was just (Burfict); it was like the whole team was really out there trying to like twist my ankles and do little dirty stuff in between the piles.”

4. Craig Sager will receive the ESPYs’ Jimmy V Award for Perserverance this year

The Turner Sports sideline reporter battling cancer will be presented with it on July 14.
