Undefeated and priced at $3.15 — why wouldn’t they be hot? Punters have jumped on North Melbourne and think they are the real deal, with 85 per cent of the market v Sydney going on the Roos.

“$3.15 really is an unbelievable price for a team that is 9-0. There has been little support for the Swans,” TAB’s Nick Quinn said.

Collingwood ($2.75)

Punters are continuing the value theme in this one, with 71 per cent of the money going on the Pies at $2.75.

“The Pies are in white-hot form and the MCG is also a factor given how much the Doggies love Etihad so I can see why the punters are keen on Collingwood,” Quinn said.

Geelong ($1.12)

There is no chance of the Cats playing two bad ones in a row according the punters — 95 per cent of the market against Carlton has been for them.

“Surely the Cats will bounce back. Punters will be hoping so anyway, it’s been all one way traffic with little interest in the Blues at $6.75,” Quinn said.

WHO’S NOT

Port Adelaide ($2.20)

Punters have run out of patience with the Power — only 12 per cent of the market for their clash with Melbourne has been on Port Adelaide.

“This match looks a 50/50 but punters disagree. They still haven’t forgiven them after getting burnt against Carlton a few weeks back,” Quinn said.

Gold Coast ($19)

Little surprise here that punters want nothing to do with the Suns. They are the worst backed team for the round with only 5 per cent of the market.

Essendon ($7.50)

Richmond look back on track and while Essendon have shown effort, punters don’t think they have much hope in this one with only 17 per cent of the market.

“Punters are back on the Tigers Train and as a result the Bombers have been friendless,” Quinn said.

Punters also think the Tigers can make it three wins in a row.

NICK QUINN’S BEST BET

St Kilda at the line (-21.5) — $1.80

St Kilda will inflict more misery on the insipid Fremantle Dockers. Back the Saints at the line.

BUT STAY AWAY FROM

Melbourne to beat Port Adelaide ($1.70)

Port Adelaide has won its past six encounters against Melbourne stretching back to Round 24, 2011 and looks the best chance of the outsiders this round.

WHAT THE?

It may only be $25, but one punter is convinced one of the greatest upsets of all time is on the cards, betting on the Suns to beat West Coast in Perth at $19.
