Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh today dedicated and laid foundation stones of the projects worth Rs 33 crore in Kasauli Constituency of Solan District.
He dedicated the Ayurveda Dispensary constructed with an outlay of Rs 33.13 lakh at Jabal Jamrot, dedicated a lift water supply scheme at Patta Barouri in Gram Panchayat Haripur completed with an outlay of Rs 1.56 crore. The scheme would benefit a population of around 8,000 of as many as 60 habitations of the area.
He also dedicated the Lift Irrigation Supply Scheme to the people of Haripur completed with an outlay of Rs 69 lakh which would provide irrigational facility to 500 bighas of land.
Virbhadra also inaugurated the Primary Health Centre building at Subathu completed with an outlay of Rs 53 lakh. The Chief Minister also dedicated the newly upgraded Government Senior Secondary School, Kakkarhatti. He also inaugurated the newly constructed block of GSSS, Masoolkhana completed with an outlay of rupees one crore.
He laid foundation stone of Primary Health Centre Building at Patta Brawari to cost Rs 97 lakhs.
The Chief Minister performed ‘bhoomi poojans’ for strengthening Dharampur-Basholu-Kumarhatti and Chakki-Ka-Mor-Bhojnagar-Joharji roads at a cost Rs 1.92 crore and Rs 6 crore, respectively. He also performed ‘bhoomi poojans’ for strengthening the Parwanoo-Khadeen-Bhojnagar-Banasar-Joharji –Kumathatti road and Parwanoo-Jangeshu-Kasauli-Dharampur road.
The Chief Minister also announced that a new irrigation scheme for Talad-Jagota and Pratha village from Rao Khud would be prepared and directed the department to conduct the survey for the same so that it could be completed well within stipulated time frame.
