Abhay Chautala, INLD leader and Leader of the Opposition in the Vidhan Sabha, today demanded an immediate session of the Haryana Assembly to have a detailed discussion on the Prakash Singh Committee report.

Accusing the Khattar Government of not making public the Prakash Singh Committee report on officials’ role in the Jat agitation to “save” its own leaders, Abhay Chautala reiterated his party’s demand for making the report public.

He also pleaded that the names of ministers and MLAs, who pressured the former UP DGP in the run-up to the preparation of the report, should also be made public.

The BJP government, he alleged, was “hobnobbing” with the Congress as the state government was not acting on the ``chargesheet’’ on the irregularities committed in the previous Congress rule submitted by INLD to the then Governor.

He expressed surprise that while 13 DSPs and SDMs of the Jat agitation-hit districts had been suspended, their DCs and SPs had only been shifted.
