Challenges
“If you haven’t faced any problem finding a house in Mumbai, then you haven’t actually felt the vibes of Mumbai. Usually, we prefer flats over hostels in Mumbai. At the same time, flats are problematic too due to sky-high rents. Once you are in Mumbai, you can take a risk of changing your career option but you can’t risk changing your house.”
People, food & the sea
“People, food and the sea are the key factors that keep you going. People of Mumbai are very helpful and the accessibility of good and cheap food keeps you calm. Another interesting thing about Mumbaikars is that they never stop, be it rain, blasts, hot sun, they keep going…”
What I dislike
“I am very fond of keeping long hair but the humidity in Mumbai just doesn’t allow me to do that. I also dislike the immense traffic.”
Night life
“For the people in the 18-25 age group, it’s the best way to enjoy life.”
Kota vs Mumbai
“Life in Kota is at peace whereas life in Mumbai is at pace. So it’s really difficult to choose between the two.”
