Jayasurya ropes in Shruti Ramachandran for Pretham

Remember the wide-eyed, innocent girl Susheela who played Dulquer Salmaan's teenage love interest in Ranjith's film Njan? Actress Shruti Ramachandran, who played the character will soon be seen again in M-town, this time with Jayasurya in 'Pretham', directed by Ranjith Sankar.
'I can't reveal much about Shruti's role, but hers is one of the most prominent characters in the movie and there is a suspense element attached to it,' says Ranjith Sankar.'
Shruti, who is also an architect in Kochi, says she got the role through Jayasurya.'He called me up and said there is such a role, and suggested that I meet Ranjith Sankar. That's how I got roped in for the film,' she says. Is she the pretham of the movie? 'I don't have the liberty to speak about the role at length,' says the actress.
Pearle Maaney will play the other female lead. Aju Varghese, Govind Padmasoorya, Sharafudheen, Harish Perady, Devan and yesteryear actor Premji's daughter Sathi are also part of the star cast.
