Crawley have signed former Crystal Palace and Plymouth winger Jason Banton.
Banton was a free agent, having most recently been with the Reds' Sky Bet League 2 rivals Notts County.
The 23-year-old becomes Dermot Drummy's second signing as Crawley head coach following the arrival of Enzio Boldewijn last week.
"I had Jason as an Arsenal youngster - I feel he can open up the way I want to play," Drummy told the club's official website.
"I'm excited about where we can take the new boys including Jason. We're delighted to have him here."
Banton began his career as a youth player at Arsenal and then Tottenham before signing his first professional contract with Liverpool. He never made a first-team appearance for the Merseysiders and soon joined Leicester, where he also struggled to make the breakthrough.
He spent two years with Crystal Palace, making a name for himself in the club's under-21 team before going out on loan to Plymouth, where he impressed.
Banton then played for Hartlepool and Notts County, who last week released him along with 10 other players.
