Romain Grosjean to run Jules Bianchi tribute for Monaco

Romain Grosjean will run a tribute to the late Jules Bianchi on his helmet for this weekend's Monaco Grand Prix.

The small modification to the back of Grosjean's helmet will celebrate Bianchi's memorable ninth-place finish at Monte Carlo in 2014, which remains the only points scored by the Manor outfit. Later that season Bianchi suffered severe head injuries in a crash at the Japanese Grand Prix, to which he eventually succumbed last July.

On Tuesday Grosjean revealed the modification to his helmet made in memory of his fellow Frenchman, with the hashtag #NeverForget.

Under a controversial rule change made last year F1 drivers are not allowed to change their helmet designs during a season. Grosjean's tribute to Bianchi does not deviate from his usual design, meaning the change is not banned by that regulation.
