Nearly five hours after a road signage fell in Noida Sector 18, killing a 27-year-old man, another hoarding fell on the Delhi-Noida-Direct Flyway late Monday evening.
While no casualties were reported, a 20-year-old woman who was traveling in a Swift received minor injuries.
“The hoarding was a commercial one and it stretched across the road. The front portion of the Swift was damaged and the occupant received minor injuries,” said Amarnath Yadav, Station Officer, Noida Sector 20 police station.

Meanwhile, traffic on the Flyway was reduced to a snarl as the hoarding blocked movement of vehicles.
Rakesh Chopra, a businessman who lives in Lajpat Nagar, was driving the car when the hoarding fell.
“I tried to stop the car but only managed to turn it before the hoarding fell. My daughter sustained some injuries. We are taking her to the hospital to get stitches,” he said.
