Dun & Bradstreet Australia has appointed an IT executive from its rival Veda as its new chief information officer, filling a vacancy created as the result of a private equity buyout by Archer Capital last year.
Jesse Dumoff became the credit information bureau’s CIO last month, having previously served for four years until March 2016 as the general manager of group solutions at Veda, covering data analytics and B2B and B2C technology operations.
Dun & Bradstreet spun off its operations in Australia and New Zealand, which include consumer risk, debt collection and commercial solutions, to private equity firm Archer Capital in June last year.
The takeover meant D&B's former head of IT Patrick Hamilton was one of a number of senior executives to depart the organisation.
Hamilton is now a senior director at ADP Australia and New Zealand. A number of senior executives have acted in his former role while the company looked for a permanent replacement.
A spokesperson for D&B ANZ confirmed Dumoff’s appointment.
“Jesse will be leading the transformation of Dun & Bradstreet’s data and technology landscape through the delivery of key strategic growth initiatives to support our objectives to deliver customer-centric, data-driven solutions across the business lifecycle,” the spokesperson said.
“He brings over 15 years leadership experience in IT systems/application delivery and program management within the insurance and credit risk industries.”
Prior to his time at Veda, Dumoff worked in a number of senior technology-related roles across the financial services and credit reporting sector, including at IAG and Tower Australia.
