Two youngsters were injured after they collided with a Corporation lorry on Rajaji Salai on Sunday night.

Even though the police claim that the accidents were not the result of bike racing, they have booked these youngsters under sections that are associated with endangering lives of others. According to Elephant Gate traffic police, Jaffer (22) and his friend Sorabudin were heading back to Thiruvottriyur from Parry’s Corner on Sunday night. “They failed to notice a Corporation lorry that was clearing debris from the median. Both have been admitted to Stanley Medical College hospital,” said a police officer. – Special Correspondent
