South African deejay‚ philanthropist‚ television and radio personality Sibusiso Leope was at the weekend on fire when he made a guest appearance at the upmarket Pabloz VIP Lounge in Harare. Leope or simply DJ Sbu to his fans‚ was not scheduled to perform but he couldn’t resist the pressure from fans who wanted him to prove a thing or two on the decks. And that’s exactly what he did!Fans were delighted to see the award-winning entrepreneur rip the turntables, which was a special treat at “The Shift” after-party.

It was an after-party like no other as the VIP section was only occupied by those who had attended “The Shift”‚ a business forum which was held earlier in the day at the Meikles Hotel.

Among the notables in the VIP were founder of “The Shift” Chamu Chiwanza and his entourage‚ Farai Gundan who was one of the guest speakers‚ Star FM’s Chief Kotie‚ Itai Mutinhiri and Napoleon “Napster” Nyanhi.

And the barmen kept the drinks coming while popping bottles was the order of the night.

One of the waiters indicated at one point that the bill was just over $1 400.

And boy oh boy‚ those who were not there do not know what they missed.

Once the music started‚ the humble DJ Sbu greeted his fans before saying how happy he was to be in Harare.

His husky voice and stage presence was gratifying and breathtaking. He connected with his fans on so many levels‚ which made his two-hour set more meaningful.

He took to the decks after DJ T Bass had already warmed up the decks and DJ Sbu effortlessly delivered some deep house and fresh kwaito which was all in the mix.

But it did not end there as some music lovers also hopped between Pabloz VIP Lounge and the Upper Deck where another party was kicking.

Pabloz is currently a hotspot with revelers seeking a night out.

In the VIP Lounge‚ music lovers don’t drink at the bar but pop bottles while seated in the comfy couches.

Those who can afford it are free to do it the narco-lifestyle puffing on Cuban cigars and literally burn their money.

The pub and restaurant at Sam Levy’s Village is a favourite of many and appeals to a mature crowd.

Pabloz publicist Lyndon Kapuya was all smiles as the pub was filled to the rafters.

“We are delighted that fans are enjoying the serene environment and the quality entertainment that we offer on a weekly basis‚” he said.
