Mercury continue to recede, Bhavnagar hottest in Gujarat at 43.4

With mercury continue to recede slightly at many places with partially cloudy sky and soothing late evening breeze, Bhavnagar with the maximum temperature of 43.4 degree Celsius remained the hottest place in Gujarat today.
Ahmedabad and capital Gandhinagar with 43 degree remained closely behind at second place in this regard.
Many of the cities including Bhuj, Vadodara and Amreli which were sizzling at around 45 degrees a few day ago recorded below 40 temperatures today.
The met department has not issued any heat wave warning for tomorrow.
The maximum temperature at various places during last 24 hours was as following-
AHMEDABAD 43 RAJKOT 40 DEESA 41.2 GANDHI NAGAR 43 IDAR 41.4 SURENDRANAGAR 41.8 V.V. NAGAR 41.2 VADODARA 39.5 BHUJ 37 SURAT 34.4 BHAVNAGAR 43.4, AMRELI 39.2.
