The Royals lost Sunday’s game to the White Sox, but they’re be hoping that they didn’t also lose Alex Gordon.
During the sixth inning, Gordon collided with teammate Mike Moustakas and slammed his head on the tarp while coming down to the ground.
Gordon laid motionless for a few seconds before the training staff came out to attend to him. Despite the apparent head injury, Gordon stayed in the game. He was taken out in the next inning.
