Physically challenged man found dead in Hinjewadi

Pune: A physically challenged man, around 35 years of age, was found dead under mysterious circumstances at the foot of a hillock near phase-II of the Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park at Hinjewadi on Sunday morning.
The Hinjewadi police said the man was fitted with artificial arms and suspect it to be a case of suicide. A case of accidental death has been registered.
Basavraj Chitte, sub-inspector of Hinjewadi police station, said around 9am a security guard of an IT company noticed him and informed them."We took him to the hospital where he was declared dead by the doctors," Chitte added.
He said the man had fallen 60 feet down from the hilltop and was killed on the spot. "He was wearing a grey shirt and black trousers. No note or cellphone which could ascertain his identity was found," Chitte added. Hinjewadi police station contact number 020-22934622.
