The Government Ayurvedic Dispensary, constructed at a notional cost of around Rs 12 lakh at interior Raan village in Chamba district, has been waiting for its takeover by the state Ayurvedic Department for the past three years.

At present, the Ayurvedic Dispensary is being run from a rented house.

Navneet Chowfla, a Jeevan Raksha Padak national gallantry awardee, in a communication, has asked the state government to direct the Ayurvedic Department to take control of the dispensary building in the interest of the people of the area. “The newly constructed building is ideally located and conveniently accessible to all villagers of the surrounding areas,” Chowfla further stated.
