Heat wave continues in Rajasthan, Churu hottest at 47 degree Celsius

Churu on Sunday was the hottest place in Rajasthan at 47 degree Celsius. Many other cities in the state recorded maximum of 40-46 degree Celsius. The weather conditions are likely to remain the same during next 24 hours.

JAIPUR: Churu on Sunday was the hottest place in Rajasthan as the mercury inched close to 47 degree Celsius.
Sriganganagar, Pilani, Kota, Bikaner, Jaipur, Jodhpur recorded maximum of 46, 45.5, 45, 44.8, 44.2 and 40.9 degree Celsius respectively, the India Meteorological Department said.
The weather conditions are likely to remain the same during next 24 hours.
