Jitu finishes fourth, Anisa sixth in Munich Shooting WC

Munich, May 22 (UNI) Ace Indian shooter Jitu Rai stormed into the finals of the ISSF World Cup (Rifle/Pistol) at Munich’s Olympic Shooting Range here today.
The 21-year-old shooter finished fourth in the men’s 50M Pistol event. At the start, Jitu was struggling but the high scores of 95 each in his third and fifth saw him register a score of 560 at the end of six relays to qualify for the finals in eighth position.
In familiar territory, Jitu started well, being in second position for a little while before a low round of scores saw him finish outside the medals.
