Eight file nominations in north Karnataka

As many as eight persons filed their nominations to contest from the three Legislative Council constituencies in north Karnataka on Saturday.

Guruppa Nagappa Totad of Navalgund of the JD(S) and T. Ishwar Udachappa (Independent) of Shirahatti filed nomination papers for Karnataka West Teachers’ constituency.

Bimappa Ittappa Banashankari (Independent) of Mugalkhod, Bharamapa Mallappa Ninganoor of Kudachi (Independent), Rustumali Allahbaksh Itagi of Vijayapura (Independent) filed nominations for Karnataka North West Graduates’ constituency.

Shivaputraya Adivaya Hiremath (Independent) of Vijayapura, Ashok Peerappa Ganganavar (Independent) of Vijayapura and Angadi Shivalingappa Shivarudrappa of the JD(S) filed nomination papers for Karnataka North West Teachers’ constituency during the day.
