Fans buying tickets from web touts for England’s Euro 2016 opening game could be putting themselves in danger.

They are being warned seats on offer on UK sites could land them in the middle of Neo Nazi Russian supporters ­notorious for football violence and starting battles before games.

Organisers fear fans from ethnic minorities would be at particular risk at the June 11 Marseille match.

UEFA organisers are trying to crack down on websites trying to sell Russian enclosure tickets to unsuspecting supporters.

Nick Bitel, a solicitor for UEFA, said: “People should not be tempted by these seemingly respectable sites offering England tickets which could put them with opposing fans.”

British police have already been in talks with Euro 2016 organisers amid fears that the England-Russia game may be a prime target for a terrorist attack.
