Preity Zinta, Bollywood actress and owner of Punjab Kings XI Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket franchisee, visited Rishikesh today.

Zinta, who is associated with Mother Miracle School, Shisham Jhadi, Rishikesh in Dehradun district, visited the school for the first time after her marriage with Gene Goodenough earlier this year.

Zinta is associated with Mother Miracle School and she finances upbringing of more than 30 girls.

From education to food and clothing, Zinta funds the orphanage. She visits the school whenever she gets time from her busy schedule.

The bubbly actress stayed close to three hours with girl students at the school. Zinta, who has acted in blockbusters such as “Kya Kehna”, “Koi Mil Gaya”, “Veer Zara” and “Kal Ho Na Ho”, said she always had a memorable time whenever she arrives at the school.

“I feel rejuvenated and optimistic and get to know the life of such children who don’t have parents. I feel blessed to aid these students. And on the Ganga banks, it’s spiritual bliss,” said Zinta, who left for Anandam resorts in Narendra Nagar.

Mother Miracle School founder Shahla Abetafak, head Yogesh Uniyal, members Vishal, Sohan, Prateek Rastogi and Kailash Butola were also present on the occasion.
