Politics behind CBI raids, says Hooda
Rohtak, May 21
Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has said that the CBI raids in connection with the allotment of industrial plots in Panchkula smacked of political vendetta.
“The CBI may probe the matter, but I have not done anything wrong,” Hooda told the media here today.
He said certain officials were being made scapegoats in connection with the Jat agitation and demanded that the Prakash Singh Committee report be made public.
Citing the statements by BJP MP Ashwini Chopra, Hooda said BJP leaders were behind the agitation. He reiterated the demand for a thorough inquiry by a Supreme Court Judge into the entire episode.
I have nothing to do with the case: Dalal
Chandigarh: Palwal MLA Karan Singh Dalal reacted to CBI raids at his houses in Palwal and Chandigarh, as he said he had nothing to do with the Panchkula plot allotment case. “The raids are an attempt to browbeat me for raising voice against the BJP government’s acts of omission and commission,” he alleged. —TNS
