Hari Krishnan Secures Podium In Round Two Of 2016 Asia Dream Cup
Hari Krishnan is part of the 2016 Asia Dream Cup, which is part of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship. The Asia Dream Cup consists of six rounds. Now Hari Krishnan has secured a second place finish in round two, which was contested in Thailand.
This is Hari Krishnan's very first podium at the international level. He rode a picture perfect race from start to finish. The Chennai-based rider is known in the competition for his aggressive on-track racing persona. Very first race of Asia Dream Cup saw Hari Krishnan finishing in Eleventh position.
Asia Dream Cup will be conducting the fifth round of the season in India, around the Buddh International Circuit. The Championship round will be held on September 29 to October 2, 2016.
Eighteen riders from ten nationalities will be participating in the 2016 Asia Dream Cup Championship. Specially modified Honda CBR250R models will be used by all riders for fair competition. Currently, Hari Krishnan stands in seventh position overall with 32 points.
Very first Indian to secure a podium at the Asia Dream Cup was S Sarath Kumar. Both Hari Krishnan and S Sarath Kumar have trained at Honda's Ten10 Racing academy. Honda selected Hari Krishnan for his consistency in the Honda One Make Race Championship.
