Pavitra Punia of 'Ye Hai Mohabbatein' injured

Pavitra Punia aka Nidhi of Star Plus' popular show 'Ye Hai Mohabbatein' recently got injured while shooting for a sequence. The actress was shooting for an important scene when he high heels got stuck in the camera trolley, leading to an ankle twist. The actress was in unbearable pain and was rushed to the hospital. Pavitra will be taking rest for two days before resuming the shoot.

Manish Paul injured while shooting

TV's funny host and actor Manish Paul recently injured himself while shooting. Yes, the actor injured his right hand and posted a picture of himself on Instagram. Manish wrote "No pain no gain!!!! Injured...but not out!!! Gonna take a few days off n will be back in action!!!#mp#thankgod #saved#action#shoot#lovingit#recovering#heal#fast#rest".The actor has taken a few days off to recover soon. Manish has been busy shooting for Nat Geo's show 'Science of Stupid'. He will be also reportedly hosting 'Jhalak' season 9.

'Yeh Vaada Raha's' Roshni Walia injures herself while shooting for her movie

Popularly known for her role in 'Maharana Pratap' and 'Yeh Vaada Raha', Roshni Walia is busy shooting for her upcoming movie. The actress, who is currently in Dehradun for a shoot, injured herself while riding a bicycle. While performing for a scene, Roshni tumbled down from a slope and injured both her hands and legs. Walia, even though was hurt bad, did not stop shooting. Roshni has got a few days of bed rest and shall be back with a bang soon.

Actress Vahbiz, who is currently seen in 'Bahu Humari Rajni_Kant' on Life OK, injured herself while shooting for the show. The actress slipped on the stairs and injured herself bad. The makers of the show gave Vahbiz a few days off to rest and recover soon.

Varun was supposed to bang the door in anger in one of the scenes and while enacting he did it with so much force that the glass cut his hand. He was rushed to the doctor immediately and the shoot had to stop.

Nupur Alankaar, who is seen in &TV's 'Adhuri Kahaani Humari', recently burnt herself while shooting for the show. Nupur was shooting for a death sequence when fire spread and burnt her shoulder. She was rushed to the doctor and got instant first-aid. Thankfully, nothing serious happened and the actress felt a lot better after getting treated.

Shaleen Bhanot injured on the sets of 'Suryaputra Karn'

Actor Shaleen Bhanot, who is seen playing the role of Duryodhan in 'Suryaputra Karn', recently injured himself while shooting for a fight sequence. Shaleen was hit by a mace and got seriously wounded. The actor, known for his professionalism, still continued with the shoot as he wanted to finish the sequence. Shaleen was in immense pain while shooting and because his swelling did not go, he was taken to the hospital for treatment. The mace was quite heavy and hit him on his right eye.

Ankush Arora gets injured on the sets of 'Yeh Vaada Raha'

Talented actor Ankush, who is seen on 'Yeh Vaada Raha' recently got injured while shooting for a scene. Ankita Sharma, who plays the role of Meher threatens to commit suicide in scene. During the scene, Ankush had to take the knife away from Meher's hand. But, things did not go as planned and Ankush ended up cutting his hand and bleeding heavily. The actor was rushed to the hospital immediately by his team and got six stitches. Known for his professionalism, Ankush made sure the shoot is not affected and resumed as soon as he got his dressing done.

Paras Babbar accidentaly injures co-star in 'Saath Nibhana Saathiya': Actor Paras Babbar, who is seen playing the role of Sahir Modi in the TV show "Saath Nibhana Saathiya", accidentally injured his co-star Rashmi Singh while shooting for a Holi sequence. According to the ongoing track on the show, Paras had to dance facing the camera and his onscreen wife Rashmi’s entry was from behind. While performing for the dance sequence the actor’s elbow accidentally hit Rashmi’s nose and it started bleeding. Being responsible for her injury Paras rushed to give her immediate medical help. “Since we were shooting for the Holi sequence, everybody was excited about giving their best shot. I went all out for the performance and didn’t realise she was standing behind me," Paras said in a statement. The actor said he felt for what happened. Even though Rashmi was injured she did not stop shooting. "As soon as her nose started to bleed I thought it was my responsibility to make sure she is alright. The strong girl that she is didn’t want the shoot to get disturbed and continued to shoot within half an hour,” he said.

Head injury forces Deepika Singh to take a break

Accident-prone Deepika Singh has injured herself yet again. This time, it was a light stand that fell on her head while she was shooting. The actress was asked to undergo an MRI scan, which revealed a few swollen nerves in her brain that was causing her excruciating pain. She has been advised bed rest for at least three days. Says a source, “Deepika resumed the shoot immediately after visiting the doctor. But after a few hours, she started feeling dizzy and nauseated from the heavy medication and pain. So, the director sent her home. Her head and eyes are swollen. She has also been asked to refrain from talking and to avoid any stress.” by Neha Maheshwri

Ridhima Pandit, who plays the lead in 'Bahu Hamari Rajni_Kant', met with an accident on the sets. The actress, who had to run into a glass door for a scene, refused to use a body double and ended up dislocating her shoulder. She says, “Since this is my first show, I have been very enthusiastic and wanted to do all stunts on my own. After taking precautions, we shot for the sequence but due to the force I had to apply on the glass, I injured my shoulder. I felt an excruciating, intolerable pain and realised that I had dislocated my shoulder.” The shooting had to be stalled as the actress has been advised rest for two days. Shilpa Shirodkar slips on set, injures back

Actress Shilpa Shirodkar had a major fall on the set of TV show 'Silsila Pyaar Ka'. A particular sequence required the actress, who plays the role of Janki in the Star Plus show, to walk down the stairs while delivering her dialogues. While doing so, she lost her balance and accidentally slipped on the staircase recently. The unit members, including her co-star Abhay Vakil, immediately rushed towards her since she was injured and couldn’t stand on her own. Recalling the incident, Shilpa said in a statement: “I slipped on the set very badly and hurt my back. It was an accident. I thought for next one or two months that I wouldn’t be able to get up from the bed, but luckily it is not a fracture." "I can’t walk right now so thankfully my director has tweaked my part and made it in a way, so that I can rest at home," she added.

Vandana Pathak falls down the stairs

Vandana Pathak, who plays the vicious Gaura Suryavanshi in 'Saath Nibhaana Saathiya', tripped over her sari and rolled down the stairs on the set. The production team rushed to her rescue and took her to the doctor. She says, “I think my sari got in the way and I lost balance. But it was a bad fall. Aditi Sharma gets injured in kite flying

While Aditi Sharma is seen as a champion of kite flying in popular soap opera 'Gangaa', the actress is totally opposite to her reel image in real life. During the shooting of an upcoming kite flying sequence, Aditi injured herself by cutting her palms and even foot with the 'manjha'. As per the episode, Aditi was required to fly kites like a champ. However, she ended up getting injured by the 'manjha' (kite string). “You would think that one gets cuts and bruises while doing an action scene. But it was an eye opener that even family drama shoots can lead to injuries. It wasn't too bad but yes I have become quite the kite runner now,” Aditi said in a statement.
