Five, including four of a family die in car crash

Indore: Five persons, including four family members of Ratlam Congress leader Aditi Devsar, were killed when their vehicle hit a bridge on a highway near Barnagar in Ujjain district on Friday morning.
Aditi's son, Rudraksh was seriously injured in the accident and is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Indore.
The deceased , residents of Indra Nagar in Ratlam district, were on their way back from Simhastha when the accident took place.
Three women including Asha (60), Usha (65) and Prabha (50) died on spot while 15-year-old Abhay 15 and the driver, Farid Khan (30) died on their way to the hospital. Rudraksh happens to be the lone survivor. After receiving initial treatment in Ujjain, he was brought to Indore and is undergoing treatment at a private hospital.
Ujjain police had to use electric metal cutters to recover the bodies of victims. Those sitting in the front seat were crushed to death on spot. "All the members of my family were killed. My son is undergoing treatment in Indore hospital and his uncles are looking after him. I want to go to Indore to meet him," said Aditi Devsar while speaking to TOI over phone.
