HAFIZABAD-A fiendish youth sexually assaulted a five-year-old boy here in village Thatha Gondal the other day.
The police have arrested the accused identified as Imran, son of Abbas, a resident of Qila Balwant Singh and registered a case against him under section 377/109 PPC.
According to police source, the minor boy went to the shop of Imran near Rajbah but the fiendish youth took him inside the shop where he subjected the minor to his animal lust despite his hue and cry. However, some passersby took the boy along with his blood-smeared clothes to RHC Kassoki and got his medico-legal report.
In another incident, a minor boy identified as Muhammad Qasim when he consumed petrol in the house of his maternal grandfather in Mohallah Ghari Awan. He was rushed to the hospital but could not survive.
According to the residents, the boy took the petrol considering it as beverage.
