JAMMU, May 20: Railway Police Jammu has busted the Zehar Khurani gang by arresting two of its members.
The arrested members of the gang have been identified as Babloo, son of Ganesh Parsad of Bankatwah and Raju, son of Rampaul of Uttar Pardesh.
As per their version during the interrogation, they were used to roam in periphery of Railway Station Jammu/trains and were circulating the intoxicants in the shape of tea/biscuits and other eatables to the innocent people.
The gang remained busy in committing such type of offences at several crowded points of Railway Stations, in the trains and Bus Stand by offering tea mixed with intoxicant tablets, biscuits and eatables to steal the belongings of people.
In a brief statement, SSP Railways Rajinder Gupta said that the investigation of the case is going on and more arrests are expected. Their arrest will be of immense help in solving the theft cases.
