1. Waking up with Camilla Franks Australia's caftan queen wins the award for the most spectacular show of the week. Held on a super yacht on Sydney Harbour the early 7am call time was rewarded with a rocking tribal dance party/ fashion soiree to showcase the designer's vibrant African-inspired wares. Extra points for the on-board coffee cart, buff surfer models, A-list crowd and rocking dance tunes - which made it difficult to depart for fashion week HQ.

2. Overheard Fashion Week "These shoes hurt my feet so much. I had to go and sit in the bathroom to take a rest.." The reality of fashion week is real. Here are a few of the best lines that kept us entertained during the week.

3. Steven Khalil Hollywood is already knocking on this down-to-earth designer's door. Word is Jennifer Lopez and Gwen Stefani have their eyes on Khalil's feathered frocks after his MBFWA presentation lit up Instagram (and the internet) this week. We can't wait to see his creations on the red carpet circuit soon.

4. Nikki Phillips Our guest editor/reporter delivered an extra dose of chic to our MBFWA coverage, capturing the best looks off the runway and giving you exclusive backstage access with the designers and celebrities in our video interviews. We asked Nikki to capture her fashion week wardrobe - here's how to shop her look via Polyvore.

LOWS

1. The end of our Polyvore Instagram takeover The Y7 team took over our style partner and colleague Polyvore's Instagram account during fashion week, snapping daily from the front row, backstage and beyond. We may be handing back the login, but we'll still be posting style snaps (and sets) here from our Polyvore account. #Letsgoshopping

2. High heel hangovers We love our Gianvito Rossis, don't get us wrong. But after 12-hour days and back-to-back shows, we won't be sad to treat the feet to our adidas Superstars - least for the next week.

3. Passive aggressive fashion people We're all tired and hungry too. But that's no excuse to dish more attitude than Nicki Minaj. Some fashion types need to remember: it pays to be kind. And patient.
