1.5kg gold stolen from Visakapatnam jeweller

Chennai: An unidentified man escaped with 1.5kg of gold jewellery from a jeweller from Vishakapatnam at a lodge in the city on Wednesday.
The jeweller, Gopalram, 48, had booked a room in the lodge on Wall Tax Road. He returned to the lodge on Wednesday night to find the jewellery missing from his bag, which contained at least 5kg of gold jewellery.
Police believe the thief used a duplicate key to open the door.They are questioning the employees of the lodge.
