Sharan begins shoot for RajVishnu
Kannada actor Sharan has temporarily shifted to Mysuru, which is where he will be shooting for his next film, RajVishnu. To be directed by Madesh, the film also features a host of actors such as Srinivasa Murthy, Chikkanna, Sadhu Kokila and Bhajarangi Loki, including Sandalwood newbie Vaibhavi Shandilya. 'RajVishnu is the official Kannada remake of the Tamil film Rajani Murugan. It brings Chikkanna and me together after our last hit outing, Adhyaksha.
It took us so long to get back to work together because we waited for a film that would give us two roles like this one does,' says Sharan. The actor teams up with music composer Arjun Janya once again for this one. The film also highlights an interesting bond between a grandfather and grandson played by Srinivasa Murthy and Sharan respectively. 'The story is set in Srirangapatna and that's why all of us are in Mysuru and will be here for a while. We are showcasing Mysuru and places around it in very unique ways,' says Sharan, whose next release is Pavan Wadeyar's comic caper Nataraja Service. 'The title is basically a slang that we use when one has to resort to walking to travel as he cannot afford any other means of transport. It is a fun film that stresses on how best to take one's hardships and sorrows in one's stride and in a lighter vein,' says Sharan.
