David Hasselhoff claims he only has $4,000 in cash due to years of alimony payments to ex-wife Pamela Bach.

The former “Knight Rider” and “Baywatch” star, now 63, says he must work due to annual payments of $252,000. The actor divorced Ms. Bach, 52, in 2006.

“I am 63 years of age, and am at an age when I should be preparing for retirement and not having to continue working in order to pay [Ms. Bach’s] support,” Mr. Hasselhoff said in court papers filed in April, the New York Post reported Friday.

The entertainment website TMZ reported Friday that he makes $112,000 per month, but spends at least $66,000 of it on financial obligations.

Ms. Bach’s legal representation claims the former “Baywatch” star has a net worth of $120 million. Court records show at least $1.79 million tied up in real estate, cars, retirement savings and other assets.

A court hearing on the issue is scheduled for next month.

Mr. Hasselhoff’s representative did not immediately return the Post’s request for comment. He now has a reality show called “Hoff the Record” and will appear in next year’s “Baywatch” reboot starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
