Adhikari saw off Prasansha Moktan 4-0, 4-0 in straight sets to clinch the trophy. Pranav Manandhar and Rajbir Pradhan set the championship clash in the boys’ U-9 category. Manandhar beat Prasiddha Basnet, while Pradhan got the better of Sakshyam Bikram Shah in the semi-finals.
Samrakshyak Bhusan Bajracharya and Pranab Khanal set the boys’ U-16 title showdown. Bajracharya eased past Renjan Lama 6-0, 6-2 and Khanal dispatched Saurav Raj Pandey 6-1, 6-1 in last four.
In the boys’ U-14 semi-finals, Chhabilal Raut rallied to beat Saharsa Chand 3-6, 6-1, 6-3 and Samyak Bhusan Bajracharya defeated Pramod Budhathoki 6-2, 6-0. Making it to the final of the U-10 girls’ singles were Suvangi Laxmi Shah and Ayesha D Gurung. Shah overcame Eva Adhikari 6-4, 6-2 and Gurung ousted Samriddhi Shrestha 6-1, 6-2 in the semi-finals.
Aryan Samrat Hada crushed Ojen Chitrakar 6-0, 6-0, Chirag Timilsina saw off Prasidhha Basnet 6-3, 6-2, Aditya Subedi defeated Pranab Manandhar 6-1, 6-0 and Aki Juben Raut hammered Daniel Shrestha 6-0, 6-0 to enter the boys’ U-10 semis.
