Hibi Eden, the sitting MLA of Ernakulam Assembly constituency, repeated his electoral performance in the 2016 polls by establishing an emphatic win over his rival M.M. Anilkumar of the Left Democratic Front. The junior Eden, who had taken an early lead, never looked back as the counting of votes progressed at SRV High School here. The Congress workers who had been waiting outside the counting centre with a flex board depicting him as the prince of Ernakulam burst into celebration as his margin crossed 10,000 votes. — Special Correspondent
